Avento high/low Chair
The Avento high/low chair from Haelvoet is hydraulically height adjustable and features a stable metal frame, practical castors and a range of optional accessories (infusion stands, dinner trays), making it useful for diverse applications in hospitals, nursing homes and rehab facilities. Thanks to a 2-level upholstery, a height adjustable headrest and height adjustable armrests, this chair offers patients optimal seated and lying comfort.
The Avento high/low chair can be set to various seated and lying positions, including the Zero Gravity position with which all muscles are as relaxed as possible. Adjustment to the desired position is done with the help of levers that are mounted on the left and right sides of the chair.

The Ergo-line Mechanism
- Seat, backrest and footrest can simultaneously take on the Zero Gravity position
- Angle between seat and backrest can be adjusted from 97° to 120°
- Gas spring reduces the force required to activate the mechanism
- Chair can be set to every desired position with using a lever
- When in normal seated position, footrest is folded in to allow the patient to easily stand up
