The body of the B9 and the B7 is the same size, but the tines for the B7 are wider than the tines on the B9. Because of the wider tines, the B7 is easier to play.

The deep tones of the pentatonically tuned instrument emit vibrations that are felt particularly strongly in the hands. This is one reason the B7 is especially favored by music therapists. Always in harmony, it’s also an easy instrument for beginners to play.

The tuning of the Kalimba B7 is pentatonic C.

Tuning of tines is: E, G, D, E, C, A, A


You can amplify the sound by placing the Kalimba on a flat surface, like a table or on top of a drum.

    Great toy but if your dog is an aggressive chewer, please think twice.

Lily Belle will miss you, chicken. Lily loooooved this toy! She'd toss it in the air, chew on it, pull it with her teeth etc. but as much as she loved it, we won't replace it. It's just not durable enough for her. If your dog is an aggressive chewer, you might want to try a different toy.
