Each peice of glass in this Hanukkah menorah has been hand cut, wrapped in copper and soldered together. Careful selection of the glass is essential to this design. The swirls in each piece of glass need to be similar yet different and the pattern created needs to flow from section to section. No two menorahs will be alike since the background glass is never the same. When the background panel is completed, the glass is soldered to a lavender glass base and the menorah holders are added. There are nine candle holders - one of each of the eight nights of Hanukkah and one, the shammos, the light the other candles each night. This configuration of the candle holders in a straight row with the shammas higher and separate is the correct specifications for a kosher menorah. Size - 11 1'2 x 7 x 3"
