MLS gaskets are ideal for both aluminum heads to aluminum blocks and aluminum heads to cast iron blocks. They can withstand the shearing force created by the two materials. MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. Great product, mic and camera compatible
I bought this to use a webcam with a built-in mic on my Microsoft Windows Surface Pro 8. When I first plugged in the webcam both the camera and the mic were recognized, however the mic was not picking up sound. After double checking the device settings, my privacy settings, the device drivers, and everything else I simply unplugged and replugged the camera in. Then everything worked as I had hoped. Great piece of equipment. Worked for mouse, hard drive, and digital camera all into a laptop.
Works great. I used to plug in a mouse, an external hard drive, and an overhead Nikon digital camera for historic digitization of documents and books. It small and compatible and there were no connection or power problems. It feels well built and sturdy and the cord connection to the device is strong and flexible.
