About the brand:
Haptic Lab is rooted in a history of using sensory design with intention, to do good, and find a way. Founded by Emily Fischer, a Brooklyn-based architect, the first product Emily created was a quilted map when her mother was diagnosed with glaucoma — these early projects were meant to be used as a wayfinding tool for the visually impaired. Helping people “see” through their sense of touch, their Haptic sense.
