Bushwick’s Shadez of Brooklyn delivered an absolutely iconic NYC indy record back in ‘96. A record that perfectly encapsulates the raw essence of 90’s boom-bap. Nearly 30 years later, we see it prime for a resurgence with die hard fans and ready to be discovered by others as a hidden gem of the era. Lovingly remastered from Mr. Walt’s original DAT tapes specifically for a 45 release.

This release marks the first time "Change" and "When It Rains It Pours" have been paired on a 45–honoring the original Shadez of Brooklyn 12” on Da Beatminerz imprint Pandemonium Wrekordz, featuring the same radio versions of these cuts. The DIY aesthetic of this 7-inch release (hand packaged and stickered) hopes to pay tribute to the original’s independent, no frills nature.
