Joseph Moxon (1627 - 1691) was an English engraver and printer, and mathematician. He produced the first English mathematical dictionary, as well as maps and globes. He was appointed hydrographer to the King Charles II in 1662, and later became the first tradesman to be elected a Fellow of the Royal Society.
