Composed of only 5 extremely rare eaux-de-vie from Grande-Champagne, each selected by one of the last 5 family members, from different generations, who have selected, guided, matured, and preserved these old and rare eaux-de-vie.

Each eaux-de-vie has reached maturity in casks before being transferred, one after the other, to dames-jeannes–large, slender-necked glass bottles designed to store cognac for decades on end in a dark, damp corner of one of the oldest cellars in Jarnac.

As the House’s liquid memory, these dame-jeannes bear witness to Delamain’s history. Composing with each cognac old and strong character, the combination of both Cellar Master’s art allowed the creation of this harmonious cognac telling a tale of 200years. A tribute to the men and women–past and present–who have perpetuated the signature Delamain style, standards and spirit over nine generations, carrying it into the future.

Fruits take the center stage with notes of raisin, prune, and black cherry, followed by the richness of roasted almonds and other nuts.

Hints of a warm mocha coffee, spices and earthy forest scents, enchanted by alluring aromas of a cigar box and the aged leather of a leather bag passed down as a cherished heirloom.
