Pecan Bowl Blank P-463 3" x 6" x 7" 2.7 lbs. This is a small half-log bowl blank of Texas-grown Pecan wood. Its color is a soft tan to peachy light brown color with subtle darker-brown streaks of mineralization. The wood grain has a pleasant and gracefully flowing pattern. It has full bark on the back side, although it is a bit loose and needs to be secured prior to turning. This half-log bowl blank should be suitable for a bowl 5-6" in diameter and up to 3" deep. With the bark on the backside, you have the option of turning a conventional bowl or a "barky" natural-edge bowl. However, if you want a full bark edge on the "natural" rim, you will need to secure the bark with CA glue before and possibly during turning. This piece is GREEN to partially air-dried, meaning that it still retains a lot of its original moisture from when it was a living tree. Moisture content was 20-25% when measured in May, 2022. It has been well-sealed and is in the process of slowly drying. It was heat-treated to kill off any hungry critters that may have been burrowing inside. If you need a current moisture content, please message us and we'll check its status for you. This is a classic half-log blank, split through the center of the log. It does have a sliver of pith in it and has a few cracks developing that radiate out from the remnant pith. You may wish to reinforce these with CA glue prior to turning. Quality No Show Socks That Are Comfortable and Durable

These Under Armour no show socks are great for everyday training and casual wear. The cotton blend feels comfortable and they stay in place throughout the day. Comfortable

I recently picked up a pair of Under Armour socks, and they’ve quickly become my go-to choice for daily wear and workouts. From the first wear, the fit felt snug and supportive without being too tight. The fabric is lightweight yet durable, and it does a great job wicking sweat — keeping my feet dry even during longer runs or intense gym sessions.
One of the things I appreciate most is the arch support and cushioning in the right places. It adds just enough padding where I need it, especially under the ball and heel of the foot, which makes a noticeable difference on days when I’m on my feet a lot. The socks also have a nice breathable mesh pattern that improves airflow.

Great socks, watch out for bad seller

The socks are great, comfy, padded where you want it. I used these for work socks; I have a blend of corporate desk life and maintenance work. I like the low cut so my shoes don't rub the back of my ankle but not so high that socks always fall down. Great for running and sports as well. Been using these for years.
Buyer beware though of the particular seller Liegnitz Group:
They were late shipping, sent me the wrong socks so I sent for a return and they send me the right ones. My return got delivered back to them but they did not process it and did not send out any new ones. They cancelled my order and acted like I got the right ones all along. Buy from a different retailer.
