Sinds kort hebben wij een aantal nieuwe decoren van de Oakland in onze collectie. De Hongaarse punt (Oakland special) en Weense punt (Oakland special).

Iedere vloer heeft zijn eigen karakter. Zo oogt bijvoorbeeld een Weense punt zachter en rustiger als het meer geweven effect van een visgraatvloer. Terwijl door de legrichting bij de Hongaarse punt de klassieke touch wordt versterkt door de rechte stroken. Het is ideaal dat deze nieuwe Oakland kleuren op vier manieren te leggen is. Zo zijn diverse combinaties mogelijk. 

Heb je liever toch een rechte plank, een visgraat vloer of zelfs een weense punt? De Oakland Naturel is namelijk in maar liefst vier variaties te leggen. Hoe fijn is het dat dit decor identiek is wat betreft nerfpatroon, kleurtint en textuur aan de Oakland, Oakland Special (Hongaarse punt) en Oakland Special (Weense punt).  Ook is het mogelijk om de Oakland naturel door te leggen op de trap. I've only been using this food for two weeks, but the hummingbirds love it so far. From what I've read, they are attracted to the color of the feeder more so than the smell of the nectar / food itself. With the amount of work that hummingbirds have to go through just to find enough food to survive, I figure it is worth the extra cost of this food compared to making plain sugar water that does not have the added minerals and electrolytes that this feed has to mimic real nectar.

First of all I just want to point out all of the reviews from people who claim that the bottle arrived damaged or open and in some cases ruined the other products shipped in the same box. Amazon will not issue a refund for that, which is absurd. My bottle arrived in good shape although the top was loose - not a big deal. The formula itself I find to be the best out there. I used to buy Pennington, which until this year was a deep red, now it is a light orange. The hummers will not stomach it. This product is better than the older version of the other brand. Taking one star off for all of those people who got a damaged bottle that would not be refunded.
