Roland JC-120 B Jazz Chorus Electric Guitar Amplifier W/ Spring Reverb - MIJ - 100V
The Roland Jazz Chorus JC-120, first introduced in 1975, is a 120-watt solid-state stereo combo amplifier renowned for its clean tone and lush built-in chorus effect. It features two 12-inch speakers (one per channel), providing a wide stereo field and pristine clarity ideal for jazz, funk, and studio work. The amp’s hallmark analog chorus and vibrato, driven by a bucket-brigade delay (BBD) circuit, give it its signature shimmering spatial sound — a tone that’s become iconic across genres.
Its clean headroom, high reliability, and rugged solid-state design made it a favorite among professional musicians, including Andy Summers, Metallica, and The Cure. Though the circuitry has been slightly updated over decades, the fundamental tone has remained consistent, and the JC-120 is still in production today — one of the longest-running amplifier models in history.
This sale is for a JC-120B built in Japan during 2010.
