Hua weleweka lei are traditionally created for hula competitions such as the world renowned Annual Merrie Monarch Festival in Hilo, Hawai’i (Moku o Keawe), as well as for the pa’u riders, or princess horse riders, for each Hawaiian island in the annual Ho’olaule’a Parade in Honolulu, O’ahu.
How to care for your hua weleweka:
Store in cool, shaded area
Avoid taking into salt water or chlorine, freshwater ok.
