It is designed for modern high efficiency gasoline, diesel and hybrid cars from Stellantis (Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, Vauxhall, DS), Mercedes-Benz Group (MB, Smart) and General Motors (Chevrolet, Cadillac), as well as for Japanese and Korean vehicles that specifically call for a SAE 5W-30 viscosity grade and any of the specifications the oil supports.
Mobil 1 ESP Formula P 5W-30 has been fully qualified by Stellantis for 1.5L Blue HDi Diesel engines (DV5R engines) produced before February 2023 (FPW9.55535/03 approval) and for Stellantis cars operating in hot climates (PSA B 71 2297 approval).
Mobil 1 ESP Formula P 5W-30 is designed to be fully compatible with the latest Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF's) and Gasoline Catalytic Converters (CAT's), and to deliver outstanding performance and protection making it the product of choice for vehicles operating under hot climates and allowing for extended oil change intervals where recommended by the manufacturer.
