"Back & Front" was a technique widely used in Victorian and Edwardian jewellery. It consists of a 9ct gold shell encasing a metal core.

The locket, including the jump ring, measures approximately 38.3mm (L) x 23.7mm (W).

The approximate weight is 4.3 grams.

CONDITION: In good vintage condition, with some light surface wear commensurate with age. The locket opens and closes as it should. There are a few light dents and scratches to the face and back as shown.
