The Fly V1 is an Intermediate wing that is also perfectly accessible for those new to this sport. We took a modern design approach for the young and rapidly evolving wing market. Keeping things clean and simple the Fly is lightweight, quick to set up and easy to use. It is designed to make learning and advancing into wing propelled sports as easy and efficient as possible. Being lightweight and packing small the Fly is also an ideal travel wing.

The soft Power Handle layout is user friendly with one front handle and one back handle offering a range of hand position and trimming options. This simple ‘grab and go’ setup eliminates confusion multiple handle options might cause to new comers. Sheeting in on the rear Power Handle generates a solid amount of power to get you moving, which can be fully controlled into higher wind strengths.

DE-POWER/SURF HANDLE
The soft De-Power/Surf Handle on the Leading Edge makes handling the wing to and from the water easy while offering full control when riding with the wing flagged out behind you.

LOW ASPECT AND COMPACT PLANFORM
A low aspect and compact planform reduces the tips from touching the water – a very handy feature when starting out through to riding waves.

FAST FLOW AIR VALVES
Fast Flow Air Valves on both the Leading Edge and Strut make inflation, deflation and packing a breeze.

ANY BOARD ANY SURFACE
The Fly V1 is suitable for riding any type of board on the water that has enough volume to support your weight. In strong wind conditions and with developed skills it is possible to ride with smaller volume hydrofoil boards. On the land or snow minimal wind is required to harness the natural energy to enjoy a different feeling of propulsion.

• Modular leash - Our modular leash system can be customized for rider preference. The FLY V1 ships standard with a Waist Strap pre-attached to the Leash Line.
• Wing Roll Top Bag - The Fly V1 bag features an easy to use roll top closure and double layer foam padding inside the shoulder strap for carrying a board and foil over the shoulder.
• Anti-Flap Soft Battens - Soft Battens strategically positioned along the Trailing Edge provide canopy support and reduce flutter, enhancing feedback to the rider and also reducing canopy material wear.
• Easy View Windows - Easy view windows on either side of the strut provide safety for you and others around.
• Bungee Leash Line - The Leash Line features a strong tubular webbing with internal bungee core. It connects to the wings Leading Edge via a loop-to-loop connection and can easily be removed if necessary.
• Wing Waist Strap - The Waist Strap is slim and lightweight with a strong buckle closure and size adjustment buckle. It connects to the Leash Line via a loop-to-loop connection. If you become overpowered or lose control let go of the wing and it will de-power on the Leash Line. Our wings ship standard with a Waist Strap pre-attached to the Leash Line.
• Direct Connect Strut - Our Direct Connect construction method improves load distribution between the Leading Edge, Struts and Canopy. Struts are connected directly to the Leading Edge with internal and external reinforcements. This unique construction method ensures clean profiles are maintained with the optimum canopy tension.
• Reinforced Leading Edge and Struts - The Leading Edge and Struts are reinforced in high stress areas to ensure the kite canopy remains in shape and performs at its best.
• Reinforced Trailing Edge - Double layer Trailing Edge strip with an internal light weight Dyneema reinforcement – this reduces canopy wear and helps to maintain optimum Trailing Edge tension as designed. The Dyneema line also reduces any potential stretch at the Trailing Edge.
• Low profile aerodynamic Scuff Pads - Leading Edge bumpers are often large and unnecessary cosmetic items. At Ozone we build our kites and wings for performance and durability using the best materials & components available. Any areas requiring scuff protection we use a lightweight durable material with superior abrasion resistance, while keeping a low profile in order to reduce drag and maintain performance.
