Representing the opulent 1950s/1960s era of luxurious and brightly coloured American cars, this one cruised around America's Dairyland - Wisconsin, registered WIS 1959 H88. 455.

The Pontiac Bonneville Coupe 1959 was a classic American car manufactured by Pontiac, a division of General Motors. It was part of the second generation of the Pontiac Bonneville, which was produced from 1959 to 1960.

The 1959 Bonneville Coupe is known for its distinctive and eye-catching styling, reflecting the flamboyant design trends of the late 1950s. It featured sweeping lines, prominent tailfins, and abundant chrome accents, making it a true symbol of the era's automotive excess.

Under the hood, the Bonneville Coupe was equipped with a powerful V8 engine. In 1959, Pontiac offered two engine options for the Bonneville: a 389 cubic inch (6.4-liter) V8 engine producing 303 horsepower and a high-performance Tri-Power version with three two-barrel carburetors, which increased the power output to 345 horsepower. These engines were mated to a Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic transmission.

The interior of the Bonneville Coupe was spacious and luxurious, with options for premium upholstery materials and features like power windows, power seats, and air conditioning, which were considered luxurious amenities at the time.

Dr. G.
Format: Paperback
Jesse Graves (a.k.a. "Dr. G.") is one of my professors at East Tennessee State University. Not only is he a great teacher, he is a very talented poet. I would recommend his work to anyone! Anyone that does not like his work probably just failed his class. :p

Incredibly Prescient -- Touches On The Major Trends Of Our Times
Format: Hardcover
I was blown away by the fact that the author started writing this book a couple of years ago, before artificial intelligence was in the news, and before the topic and trend of loneliness became so prevalent. The clairvoyance is uncanny and the storyline, while fictional, is totally believable given what's going on in our world today. This is why the novel almost reads like nonfiction, but the plotline carries you forward like a fictional thriller. I audibly gasped, "Holy crap" during the plot twist at the end of the book. Truly a work of art, there is no doubt that this will be adapted for either a movie or a series.

Deeply human, yet visionary
Format: Kindle
This book takes a thoughtful approach to the notion of loneliness in the faces of AI and the many robotic companions already in development or on the market.

Compelling story, beautifully written
Format: Kindle
Loneliness & Company was a fantastic read. In a truly novel take and an incredibly fun read, Charlee Dyroff confronts both the growing endemic of loneliness and the looming threat of AI, pushing us subtly to think deeply and thoughtfully about the implications of both. More than that though, Loneliness & Company is beautifully written, populated by great characters and is driven forward with a compelling, narrative. Its the first book in a very long while that I couldn't wait to get back to. Definitely would give this my strongest recommendation.

3.5
Format: Hardcover
This is a smart book, an interesting book but it was hard for me to read as the style was more technical/detached than i like. It worked for the story but not for the kind of reader I am. It is worth the read though despite this 3.5
