Care
General Maintenance: Ensure your pot has adequate drainage to avoid root rot. Repot every 1-2 years as needed. Trim away any dead leaves as necessary. Can be propagated from stem cuttings.Temperature: Thrives in normal household temperatures, between 15ºC-26ºC. Keep away from drafts and drastic temperature changes.
Light: Can tolerate lower light conditions, but will grow fastest in bright indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it may scorch the leaves.
Watering: Water thoroughly, then allow the top 2/3 of the soil to dry before watering again. They can benefit from some extra humidity, provided by misting or a pebble tray.
Soil: Any well-draining potting mix. A high-quality potting mix with some added perlite and/or orchid bark would be perfect.
Fertilizer: Philodendrons are not heavy feeders, but will benefit from a balanced houseplant fertilizer once a month during the spring and summer.
