Intelligent PoE+ for Simplified Deployments
Simplify your installations and reduce cable clutter with Power over Ethernet (PoE). The GWN7701P features 4 dedicated PoE+ ports that are IEEE 802.3af/at compliant. It provides a total power budget of 60W, with the ability to supply up to 30W on any of the PoE ports. This makes it the perfect solution for powering IP phones, IP surveillance cameras, Wi-Fi access points, and other PoE-compatible endpoints directly through the Ethernet cable. Smart dynamic power management protects the switch from overload by cutting power to the lowest-priority port if the budget is exceeded.
Reliable Gigabit Performance
All 8 ports on the GWN7701P are Gigabit Ethernet ports, ensuring high-speed connectivity for all your devices. The switch boasts a 16Gbps switching capacity, allowing it to handle significant network traffic without creating bottlenecks. Each port features auto-negotiation to intelligently recognize the link speed of any 10/100/1000Mbps device and adjust for optimal performance. Additionally, Auto MDI/MDIX eliminates the need for crossover cables, further simplifying the setup process.
