After gaining experience in various wine regions worldwide, he founded Sigurd Wines in 2012, focusing on organically grown grapes. Dan's winemaking philosophy revolves around minimal intervention, using indigenous yeasts and avoiding adjustments to acidity or tannins.
Dan's wines artfully capture the essence of the Barossa Valley, highlighting the region's diverse terroir and its profound significance in winemaking.
