This is the only Custom Damascus Culinary Knife Set at JW Steel Crafts with a cleaver, chef, santoku, and utility blade combination, black resin handles, and a leather storage roll across a full 12 to 7-inch size range.

The History Behind This Blade

Culinary knife sets built around a cleaver, chef knife, santoku, and utility blade became standard in professional kitchens where each profile handled one specific cutting role. Damascus steel was adopted on complete culinary sets for its layered grain that holds a working edge through the varied demands of heavy chopping and fine paring in one session. Black resin with silver bolsters became a preferred handle combination on custom matched sets for moisture resistance and clean visual contrast. The JW Steel Crafts culinary set carries that complete kitchen tradition across all six blades.

Blade Performance

Every blade is forged from Damascus steel with a bold swirl-and-ladder flow pattern. The 12-inch cleaver handles heavy chopping and dense meat work. The large chef knife covers primary slicing and general food prep. The santoku knife handles vegetable prep and precise cuts with its flat, wide profile. The mid-size chef knife manages everyday cutting tasks. The utility knife trims and portions mid-size ingredients. The 7-inch paring knife handles peeling and detail work. All six blades hold a sharp edge through daily kitchen use.

Handle Construction

Every handle is solid black resin with a smooth matte finish. Resin is fully moisture-resistant through heavy daily kitchen use without warping or cracking. A silver bolster sits at the blade end of every knife, adding front balance. One silver pin locks the scales firmly to the full tang on each handle. Full tang runs the full length on every piece for consistent balance across all six blade sizes. The tan leather roll with brass snap buttons holds all six knives in separate slots for safe storage and transport.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

ABSOLUTELY A MUST for Omegaverse Girls!!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Jillian West and her books!!! I’m so happy I already bought book two and now I have to buy the others for the Assurance Security series!! Not gonna lie Val kind of annoyed me at the beginning but she grew on me!! Her men are chef’s kisses!!! Holt annoys me some but I can let it slide. I already bought part two so I’m going to be reading that in between work phone calls!!!! DON’T TELL MY BOSS 😂😂😂😂

Baby bumps and bodyguards
Format: Kindle
Dark, emotional, and unexpectedly tender, Not Ready is an omegaverse romance that delivers found family feels, fierce protectiveness, and a very pregnant heroine who refuses to break. Vale’s on the run from a stalker, but lands in the arms of three private security alphas, cue the swoony tension, fake marriage twist, and slow-burn heat. It’s a little gritty, a little soft, and a whole lot addictive. If you love protective alphas, high stakes, and heroines with quiet strength, this one’s a must-read.

Strong Omegaverse Comfort and a Attention Grabbing Plot
Format: Kindle
Jillian West never misses when it comes to Omegaverse, and Not Ready is no exception. This story was the perfect blend of cozy comfort and emotional depth while still delivering a strong plot. Vale is such a powerful heroine, she is strong, capable, and determined but I love that she still allows her pack to love and take care of her. It’s that balance of independence and vulnerability that makes her so relatable. The relationship dynamics were amazing: Bishop is steadfast and completely head over heels, Mercy is skeptical but protective in his own way, and Holt is the hesitant one whose slow fall is so satisfying to watch unfold. The romance hits that sweet spot between insta-love and cautious build, keeping me hooked the entire way through. And that ending. Oh my god, the cliffhanger! I need the next book in this duet immediately.
