The kid and I both love this book
Format: Hardcover
I am so enamored with the illustrator of this book that I've taken to buying almost everything he does. The illustrations here are so cute and playful! My daughter wants to read this almost every single day. She loves to point out the bugs on the different page and we make up stories about them. She can now recognize so many bugs we when go outside and is really excited to see them in real life! She laughs at the antics of the ladybug on each page and loves that there are different animals hidden in with the bugs. Really can't say enough good things about this book. My only caution is that there aren't really a lot of words, so if you aren't comfortable ad-libbing or making up stories you may find it a bit boring. But if you make it interactive it's really fun!

Greatest book on the planet
Format: Board book
This book was purchased for me as a baby shower gift. My daughter is obsessed with this book. We have read it so much that our first copy has seen some damage (the book is sturdy, the damage is our fault). I had to get another copy just to keep forever. I will also be purchasing the hard cover book to keep in my collection to have forever. The illustration is brilliant, we love Oscar, the writing itself is so fun. I love that it encourages exploration, play, as well as education. 10/10 - this is our favorite childrens book ever. We read it maybe 30 times a day.

Cute Rhymes and wonderful info
Format: Board book, Format: Board book
This book is super cute and makes bugs interesting with it's colorful pages and different big varieties. The book rhymes throughout the pages and it's so cute and almost reminds me of song that could have sung by the "Animaniacs" (my age is showing lol). In one of the pics I show the cover damaged but that's from my son chewing on the book. Just because it's a board book doesn't meant it's exempt from damage, just makes it last a little longer than a paperback. I also REALLY like that there is a page that lists the bugs seen along with their names which is helpful in teaching your little one! My son enjoyed this beautiful book. :)

Perfect size, cute illustrations and words
Format: Board book
My toddler girl is super into bugs right now. This book was suggested alongside a bunch of other bug books I purchased (Maisy’s Nature Walk, Bugs, All Because a Little Bug Went Kachoo, The Lonely Firefly, A Good Place). What a great find! It’s the perfect board book size for me to hold or for my toddler to hold. The illustrations are darling and the words simple enough that my almost 2 year old has pages memorized. When she sees a picture she’ll spout out the words. I appreciate the back page with the illustration of all bugs with their names because lord knows my toddler asks me time and time again “what’s that?!” and mommy is fresh out of lies. My insect knowledge is clearly not as profound as my daughter.
