The slightly lobed and dark green leaves of Malus Evereste remain sticky in autumn and then turn yellow-orange. Its large flowers grow up to 6 cm long in clusters of 4 to 8 flowers. The buds are dark violet-pink coloured, but once opened, the flowers turn pure white in colour. The ornamental apple tree blooms from early May to mid-June with white, slightly fragrant cup-shaped flowers that contrast beautifully against its dark green leaves.

The Evereste tree is quite sturdy, frost-resistant and adapts quickly to any type of garden soil, until it is nutrient-rich and well-drained. However, it will not tolerate too wet soil and dry soil so well. The tree thrives best in normal garden soil in sunny to partially shaded position.
