Coming to you are the gemmy green fluorite crystal clusters from the world-renowned mining location of Durham, England. Fluorite from this region is regarded as some of the finest in the world.⁠⁠

Heavy Metal Pocket was a 2019 discover from Diana Maria Mine, aptly named for its association with Galena. Most specimens from Heavy Metal Pocket have their brecciated matrix attached due to its Galena content.

Fluorite from this find is recognised by the intensely dark blue daylight fluorescence of the large interpenetrant twinned crystals which sit on a bed of smaller single intergrown Fluorites. Larger cubes exhibit frosted cores, a symptom from its rapid growth, and a phenomenon seldom heard of in other mines.

As with Diana Maria productions, Bypass Pocket Fluorites are colour changing; a phenomenon known as daylight fluorescence. Twinned Fluorite cubes fluorescence stronger than single Fluorite cubes.⁠

Metaphysically, Fluorite promotes focus, intuition and understanding. It helps to bring chaos into order, promoting stability, free thinking and clear unbiased reasoning. Fluorite also helps to draw away negative energy and stress, and is an excellent learning aid.⁠⁠

There were high points and low points where my interest would waver depending upon the content. This started off with an intense scene that I thought would carry over the entirety of the story. The story had a shift that disrupted the pace. I had to regroup my thoughts. The content was tragic and while I appreciated the concept I didn’t like the execution in certain places. There were many layers to this story that were kept from the reader to serve a purpose later on. Overall, The Fix was a book about survival and how women are capable of greatness. … The Fix offers a balance of tragedy with hope not pushing too much in either direction. The dark balances with the light carving the way towards a future filled with happiness.

What they do to move the story forward, keeping an eye on everything, and sneaking in when wanted was simply brilliant. Every story by Mia brings me to my knees. Her trope/genre range is vast and diverse. Uniquely penned stories with immemorable characters. I can actually recall any character of her story at any given moment of time. Provoking but not suspenseful

Mia Sheridans thrillers are one of my top favorites, her writing style is so raw and beautiful. I wanted to love this one as much as Bad Mother or All the Little Raindrops but it just didn't hit the same mark for me. The book starts off with a bang, but soon becomes a bit more dormant for the middle portion. I still enjoyed the book, but I think I had a preconceived notion it would be more along those lines, I felt the plot of this one wasn't as suspenseful, it was fairly straight forward which is fine just not what I expected. Or maybe I'm just desensitized from all the thrillers I read. I did love the themes of how trauma, resilience and love weave together, a chance at a do over. I also felt Seraphinas portion was a little clunky and illogical in the overall storyline. Regardless I love Mia Sheridans writing and won't stray away from her thrillers.
