The Emergency Release Hood Cable kit is the solution to the failed hood cable issue as you will always have peace of mind knowing you can open your Corvette hood at any time by simply pulling on your Emergency Lanyards.
Installation instructions included. NOTE: One of the lanyards has to be installed first before the loop to pull is made to allow it to be installed through the firewall. You will have to crimp the loop as part of the installation the crimp sleeve is included. Once installed just forget about it but if your stock release cable fails you will remember in a second that you are covered and opening your hood is just two pulls away.
