The drawings are rendered in graphite pencil on 11.5" x 16.5" paper, signed by Game of Thrones story and concept artist William Simpson. They feature an alternate character design for Davos, drawn before William Simpson knew the full cast. These drawings can be seen in the book "Game of Thrones : The Storyboard !
