Knappstein Clare Valley Riesling 2023 (Australia)"With fabulous clarity, the wine shows green apple, lemon zest and white floral notes on the nose, followed by a crisp dry palate thats pristine and lingering. Splendidly styled and expressed with finesse and elegance. At its best: 2026 to 2038" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2023 "It is a wonderful thing when nature gives a region three cracking vintages on the trot and the Clare Valley has certainly been blessed. "With fabulous clarity, the wine shows green apple, lemon zest and white floral notes on the nose, followed by a crisp-dry palate that’s pristine and lingering. Splendidly styled and expressed with finesse and elegance. At its best: 2026 to 2038" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Oct 2023

"It is a wonderful thing when nature gives a region three cracking vintages on the trot and the Clare Valley has certainly been blessed. This is pale straw with a nose radiating with citrus, limes, spices and florals. Lovely stuff, full of flavour. This is approachable now but certainly has an exciting future, especially at this price. The palate gives notes of orange blossoms. Slightly crunchy acidity and a long, lingering, clean finish, which maintains its intensity. Six to ten years" Ken Gargett, Wine Pilot, Oct 2023

"Pale lemon lime hue. Lime cordial and sweet baking pastry aromatics. Fresh and vibrant on entry with loads of lemon and lime fruit tones. As it flows we see a touch of oatmeal savoury and hints of talcy minerality. Good length with ample fresh acidity to the finish" Stuart Knox, Real Review, Aug 2023

The 2023 Riesling has both elegance and intensity, with true Knappstein traits of lime, spice and white florals on the nose and a generously flavoured palate. Lively acid, mineral texture and a powerful and persistent lemon finish.

The fruit is sourced from our own Clare Valley vineyards, showing the spectrum of flavours when blended carefully together. Vine age is 35+ years.

A cooler and wetter than average season due to an extended La Nina pattern provided a challenging growing season for all, yet the best vineyards still shone through. With the cooler conditions in Spring, budburst was delayed considerably, combined with substantial rain this proved challenging for many growers and required a change in tactics over the growing season.

We are past due for Palestinian American heroines!
Format: Hardcover
Such an engaging read for this adult. How many books for older children have a Palestinian American main character as engaging as Ida? Not since Amani in "The Shepherd's Granddaughter" by Anne Laurel Carter (2010) or Liyana in "Habibi" by Naomi Shihab Nye (1997). We need diverse books and MORE of them. They are good food for discussion.

The Struggle to Belong
Format: Hardcover
Ida in the Middle is a must-read for anyone who cares about justice for Palestinians in Palestine, in the USA, and everywhere else. Author Nora Lester Murad gives us a protagonist struggling to find her place in a world that often denies her dignity. Her struggle is everyone’s struggle, especially in these turbulent times.

Best LitRPG
Format: Kindle
This is absolutely the best litRPG I've ever read as well as the best self-published series. Between the character progression, the amazing sense of humor, and the relatability of the characters, this is my top recommendation for anyone interested in litRPGs. I fell in love so much that I had to sign up for the Patreon account so I could get my fix regularly (5 new chapters each week). I even managed to get my roommate hooked on the audiobooks. If you're looking for a fun story with loveable characters, surprising insights, and epic fights, this is for you.

What the??!!!!??
Format: Kindle
This book"kills" it!!! It kept making me laugh out loud and waking up my wife... NOT COOL!! She needs her sleep...and I can't really tell her what is so darn funny because She Hasn't read any of this series and wont get the joke. It also brought tears to my eyes reminding me of actual life events I've lived through. Loss, honor, loyalty, friendship, dangerous situations... Amazing stuff! I can't stop laughing and reading. Awesome...
