True North™ Ice Melter is powerful and economical blend for basic icemelting needs that is effective down to -15ºC (+5ºF) and does contain any dangerous chemicals. This product does not contain magnesium chloride or calcium chloride, so it will not leave an oily residue and is clean to use. Unlike standard rock salt icemelters, True North also contains potassium, a fertilizer component, to reduce burning of lawns, shrubs and pets' paws.
