Simpson Strong-Tie DHU210 Installation Overview
- Install hanger after drywall is applied to the wall assembly.
- Fasten using Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws as specified.
- Ensure the top of the hanger is flush with the top of the wood wall and tight to the drywall face.
- Restrain wall top plates to resist rotation.
- Position top plate splices over studs for maximum structural performance.
