The Autumn Ivory® Encore® Azalea is a low-growing, dynamite azalea perfect for lighting up your landscape with bright white blooms! Autumn Ivory produces dozens of pure white blossoms from spring through fall. Furthermore, each flower is single-form with five wide petals.

The foliage on the Autumn Ivory Encore Azalea is evergreen, glossy, and pointed, with slight fuzz. These leaves range from bright green to rich dark green.

The Autumn Ivory Encore Azalea is naturally compact, in fact, it's one of the smallest, most dense Encore Azaleas around! It reaches a mature size of 2.5' H x 3' W. Therefore, it's an ideal foreground plant.

Use this azalea in your landscape or garden as an accent in a mixed garden bed, low hedge or border, foundation planting, or in a low-maintenance mass planting. The Autumn Ivory is also great for planting in large pots either in a mixed container or a standalone.

Autumn Ivory Encore Azalea Care

Hardy from USDA Zones 7-10, down to 0° F once completely established.

Allow for 4-6 hours of sun daily for maximum bloom and foliage potential.

Water 2-3 times per week during the first growing season. Provide water 1-2 times per week during the second growing season. After the first two growing seasons, the Autumn Ivory Encore Azalea only requires supplementary water during times of drought.

Plant in acidic soil with good drainage for best results. Highly alkaline soil will result in yellowing leaves due to difficulties absorbing nutrients.

Fertilize once or twice during the growing season with an acidic plant fertilizer to promote growth and the overall health of the plant. Additionally, top-dress your soil with 3-4 inches of compost or composted manure to feed your plant throughout the growing season.

I bought a Denton amp / Klipsch 7 speaker bundle for Christmas last year. It sounded impressive. For this year, I recently replace the Denon AVR-S970H, a 5.2.2 POS-Amp that quit after less than a year. Then I also added a 70” TV and a set of R-51M’s on the sides. I could never hear this amp driving the Dolby Atmos speakers on top of the R-625FA towers, so I decided that back speakers would be more beneficial to this 7-channel system. I’d been using the R-41M’s that came in the bundle as side surround speakers, but I was thinking that they would be more suited for use in back. So I replaced them with a new set of R-51M’s that I thought would be better surround sides because of their fuller stronger sound. As of now, at the front of this theater system is an Onkyo TX-RZ 820 AVR amp, a 70 inch LED 4K smart TV, a set of Klipsch R-625FA towers, an R-52C Center Channel Speaker, and two R-12SW Subwoofers. For the surround sides is the newly purchased set of R-51M’s on stands, and mounted on the back-wall is the set of R-41M’s, using BS-218pro Wall Mounts. For good reason, this is a very powerful amp driving a complete set of purely Klipsch speakers. I built this THX 7.2.0 surround sound system to go in my wife’s 11’ X 12’ privacy room, specifically because she is hard of hearing. She said, that with the new additions, the sound is much cleaner, stronger, the 3D surround effect is more noticeable, and the vocals are easier for her to understand. I get to use it sometimes when she’s not at home. Thunder in movies sounds as crisp sharp and loud as real thunder. All around, the system is very realistic sounding. And it can play music, shaking the house at live levels. At present, my wife and I are extremely happy with this system. It sounds as good as it looks. The Klipsch speakers & Onkyo amp configuration makes a very noticeably positive difference.
