Open -Air -Filter Schwarzer Kohlenstoffsportfilter mit Kaltluftaufnahme

Universeller Filter zum Ersetzen des ursprünglichen Standardluftfilters. Dieser Filter bietet mehr Sauerstoff und damit eine bessere Verbrennung. Legen Sie dies leicht auf das Saugrohr der Injektion oder auf den Vergaser. Verbessert den Luftstrom und erhöht die Leistung. Für mehr Stromverträge werden Sportfilter am besten in Kombination mit einem Sportabzug verwendet.

Originalfilterhaus löschen:
Zuerst muss das ursprüngliche Filterhaus entfernt werden. Dies sind vier Schrauben an jeder Ecke des Filterhauss (mit flachem Schraubendreher). Sie können wahrscheinlich keinen gut entfernen, da der Stecker des Luftmassenmessgeräts im Weg steht. Sie können dies freigeben, indem Sie eine Palette in der Mitte des Steckers drücken und den Stecker zu Ihnen (in Richtung Vorderseite des Autos) ziehen. Sie können dann die vierte Schraube lösen.

Auf diese Weise können Sie das obere Dach des Filterhauses anheben, um den ursprünglichen Filter zu ersetzen. Erst in diesem Fall entfernen Sie es einfach und ziehen den unteren Teil des Behälters gerade nach oben. Dies steckt mit zwei Plastikklemmen am Boden, die sich sehr leicht abgeben. Im unteren Teil des Filterhauss gibt es immer noch einen kleinen Schlag, den Sie leicht abziehen können (links). Dafür müssen Sie die Schlange etwas Kraft ausüben. Sie können dann den Behälter aus dem Motorraum entfernen.

Jetzt haben Sie etwas mehr Spielraum, um den oberen Teil des ursprünglichen Filterhauss zu zerlegen. Der dicke Luftschlauch steckt zusammen mit dem Luftmassenmesser mit zwei TORX -Schrauben. Eine dieser Schrauben befindet sich jedoch unter dem Luftmassenmesser und kann nicht mit einem normalen geraden Schraubendreher entfernt werden. Sie können dies mit einem Hakenschraubendreher tun. Sobald Sie dies getan haben, können Sie den oberen Teil des Filterhauss (rechts) ausziehen. Wieder mit etwas Kraft.

Open -Air -Filter zusammenstellen:
Jetzt können Sie den vorderen Teil des Schlauchs in Ihren Open -Luf -Filter legen und ihn mit einer Schlauchklemme befestigen. Dies hat eine Schraube, die Sie durch einen Kreuzkopf mit Schraubendreher anziehen können, und daher ist alles aufgeräumt (Sie können ihn auch verwenden mit Kit oder Tyraps). Sie können dann den kleineren Schlauch auf den Open -Air -Filter schieben. Dies muss nicht mit einem Tyrip fixiert werden, aber dies ist möglich. Sie können jetzt auch den Stecker aus dem Luftmassenmesser ersetzen.

Dann müssen Sie nur den Luftfilterunterstützung montieren. Am Boden befinden sich zwei weitere Gummi -Ringe, in denen normalerweise das ursprüngliche Luftfilterhaus. Wenn Sie das herausnehmen, können Sie die Unterstützung hier montieren.

Motormanagement zurücksetzen:
Weil das Motormanagement nicht an einen Outdoor -Filter gewöhnt ist. Es kann ratsam sein, den Minus -Pool Ihres Akkus für 10 Minuten zu trennen, damit der PCM zurückgesetzt wird. Nach zehn Minuten legen Sie den Minus -Pool wieder auf die Batterie.

Einführung der motorischen Management:
Lassen Sie das Auto nun fünf Minuten lang laufen und dann fahren Sie zuerst einen Block ruhig, um das Motormanagement an Ihren Luftfilter zu verwenden. Nach einem zehn -minütigen Antrieb (normale warme up -Zeit) können Sie ihn aufgeben. Die Entwicklung des Originals und die gemeinsame Installation des Open -Air -Filters kann zusammen 45 Minuten kosten. Sie müssen dafür kein Auto -Techniker sein, es ist recht einfach zu implementieren.

VELCRO Ties Are the Standard to Rely On

I am a big fan of VELCRO brand products because of their quality and utility. I have used their rolls of Velcro hook and loop tape as well as their little patches, and I became a brand loyalist. Yes, there are many other manufacturers, but these are certainly as good as it gets. This product is your very basic, very thin, and very copious supply (for my neighbors in Rio Linda - that means plenty of them). You get two big spools of these little eight (8) inch ties that are adhesive throughout their length - that means you can tie the smallest cables to anything almost up to their full length. If you need a longer wrap - use more than one and just extend the length by piggy backing them. The real advantage of this bulk package is that you are not tempted to save some for later - you have enough to use as many as you like and can happily go tie crazy on all your cords! It's VELCRO party time. We live in an electronic age, and I have a lot of more pricey hook-and-loop specialty ties, and I try to keep a few back as spares. Forget that - with these little ties, I can actually use them and do what I need to get those tangled cords in shape. O.K. maybe I am a geek, but I cook my chicken - dead already, and I believe in independent segregated wiring and not tripping over things or spending time untangling messes when I need to move gear. These big rolls will make your life easier - I use them to attach notes to little jars or vials - to tie two gloves together when I am not wearing them - and other uses even cutting them into smaller pieces. That's one of the advantages of these bulk spools - lots of supply. Yes, the individual ties are dinky thin little things, but they hold very well (why you buy genuine VELCRO) and you don't feel stupid using them up on anything you feel like. Very Effective, but Not the Instructions

These work very well, but when you remove them from the box, you see two donuts, one grey, one black, of 75 tightly wrapped cable ties each. So far, so good. First deficiency: The "how to use" pictures---three of them---are tiny light line drawings in 7/16" x 7/16" boxes. If you don't have a 400-power microscope, maybe a magnifying glass will do. Maybe Velcro---a "name" brand that should know better---thinks that the use of these devices is obvious. Well, "obvious" is obvious only when it's obvious, and that can vary from person to person. They should assume nothing. Second deficiency: Before trying (and, one hopes, succeeding) at using these ties, one must determine exactly now to remove the first tie from the outside of either donut. Obvious? No, not really, because, as it turned out, it requires some effort to remove the first one---the placement and circumstances of which do not at all (not on my set of these, anyway) suggest in any concrete way which one should be taken first. No one wants to tear up a couple of ties just to figure out how not to tear up ties by removing them incorrectly or out of order. The punishment here is four stars that could have been five.
