Werner Riethmann und sein Entwicklungsteam tüftelten an einer neuen Produktionsmethode für Wanderschuhe, um sie wesentlich leichter zu machen. Was bisher nur im Freizeit- und Laufschuhbereich gängig war, bildete den Grundstein einer neuen Wanderschuh-Machart.
