So kann man das Gerät jederzeit zur Hand nehmen oder wieder weglegen, ohne Knöpfe bedienen zu müssen oder von Geräuschen gestört zu werden. Bei Inaktivität schaltet sich der DUO 2 nach 5-10 Minuten (je nach Akkustand) automatisch ab. Dies kann auch einfach überbrückt werden, indem z. B. auf eine der Intensitätsstufen gedrückt wird.
